She was born Dec. 11, 1925, the daughter of Cecilia Nicholas.
Betty was an LPN retiring from St. Mary?s Hospital and later worked for several doctors in the Waterbury area. Most recently she was employed by Rite Aid in Southington.
She was a member of the Sweet Adeline?s.
Betty is survived by her children, Robert Pelegano Sr. and his wife Stella of Cheshire, Scott Peters of W. Haven and Robin Peters of Southington, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughters Holly and Cary Peters and Debra Peters Hamera; 2 grandsons, Robert Pelegano Jr. and Christopher Peters.
She was loved by all her friends, had a great sense of humor and was a very uplifting person whose motto was ?never better?
A Funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be at New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be Friday 4- 8 p.m.
