Meriden - Brenda Polnar, 43, of 182 Parker Ave., died Sunday, August 13, 2006 at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden. Brenda was born April 12, 1963 in Meriden and attended local schools. She was employed by the City of Meriden, Fire Marshal's Office and was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Brenda is survived by a son Douglas Polnar Jr. of Cheshire; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Michael Connolly of Southington; a niece Jennifer Connolly and a nephew Michael Connolly both of Southington and a dear friend, Jim Benson of Meriden. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
