Carl A. Bellinghausen III

Born in May 23, 1952 in Hartford, Carl was the son of the late Carl A. Bellinghausen Jr. and Anne (Delorso) Bellinghausen.

Carl dedicated 56 years of his life to working as an electrician, serving the Town of Southington and surrounding communities. Most recently, he was employed by Dover Benedict LLC in Watertown. He took great pride in his work and the many people he met throughout his career. Outside of work, Carl was an avid boater and fisherman. He especially enjoyed spending time on the water and outdoors, creating many cherished memories with those he loved.

In addition to his wife, Barbara, Carl leaves his three sisters, Carol Forgione and her husband, Brian, of West Hartford; Jean Sunderland and her partner, Mike Meyers, of Plainville; and Jane Tassistro and her husband, Frank, of East Hartford. He also leaves his nephew, Ryan Bellinghausen, and his fiancée, Bree Eichler; his niece, Amber Vega, and her husband, Gemini; great-nephews, Rylee, Jayden, and Ethan; and great-nieces, Izabella and Aryana. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip Bellinghausen.

Carl will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched and the countless memories he created with those closest to him.

Calling hours for Carl will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
