Carol (Chadwick) Danovich

Carol (Chadwick) Danovich, 70 of Southington beloved wife of Edward Danovich of 47 years of marriage went to be with the lord on Monday, August 18, 2014 at home after a 3 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Born in Meriden on January 2, 1944 to the late George and Elizabeth (Wrigglesworth) Chadwick

Besides her husband Edward, she leaves a daughter Peggy (Albee) Nigam and son-in-law Vivek of Cheshire, 2 loving grandchildren, Anisha 13 years old and Vishal 16 years old as well as nieces Kim Pasqualucci and her husband Bob, Cheryl Jett, nephews Dale Golembeski and his wife Amy, Gregg Golembeski and his wife Lourde. She also leaves her canine companions Abby and Stich. She had a special place in her heart for her grandnephew Cole Pasqualucci.

She spent most of her life working with special needs people at the Meriden-Wallingford Society for the handicapped. She also worked for Chadwick Construction, the IRS, the Cabin Restaurant and First Congregational Church in Meriden. Carol and Ed were active members in the usher greeting ministries at Faith Living Church.

She was a beautiful lady in and out, who loved to give of her time, energy and resources especially to Samaritans Purse, the Veterans Funds and to her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and joke. She especially loved tag sales and finding good deals. She had a great sense of style with her clothes and it came natural to dress classes and elegantly. She will be missed by all.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her only sibling, her sister June (Chadwick) Golembeski and a nephew Gary Golembeski

A Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 22, 2014, at Faith Living Church 20 Grove St. Plantsville, CT. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
