

Catherine “Kitty” P. Baldaccini, 96, formerly of Southington and most recent a resident of Stafford Ave. in Bristol., passed away on Saturday August 9, 2014 at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. She was the wife of the late Galilieo Baldaccini.
Catherine was born on January 15, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Felice (Mazzara) Perry. She had been employed by New Departure , Sessions Clock Co. in Forrestville where she served as union president until it closed in 1970, and had retired from the Stanley Works.
Catherine was an avid bowler , loved to travel and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of the Calendar House and served as past president of the YMCA Seniors, along with being a volunteer at Bradley Memorial Hospital (rsvp) and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Daughters of Pocahontas .
She is survived by her son Daniel Baldaccini and his wife Kathleen of Bristol, grandchildren Kimberly and Douglas Havel and Kelly and Todd Thaxter , great-grandchildren Ryan and Tyler Havel and Michael and Lily Thaxter along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Michael Anthony Baldaccini , 4 brothers John, Anthony, Dominic and Joseph Perry and 2 sisters Christine Thayer and Madaline Romatis.
Services will be held graveside at 12:30 pm on Thursday August 14 at St. Joseph Cemetery 522 Terryville Ave. (RT 6) in Bristol. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice .
