

Born in Waterbury on August 11, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Henri and Aurore (Richards) Drolet.
Claire was employed by Keith?s Pharmacy and later for Center Bank Mortgage. She was a very active parishioner of St. Anne?s Church and was a member of the choir, the Ladies of St. Anne, the Blessed Sacrament Prayer Group and a bingo worker. Claire was also an avid bowler at Wolcott Lanes and one of the Yankee?s biggest fans.
She is survived by her children Joseph Moreau and longtime companion David Clukey of Wellington, FL, Celine Massella of Waterbury, Claude Moreau and his wife Jessica of Little Torch Key, FL, Thomas Moreau and his wife Sonja of Waterbury, four grandchildren, Scott Moreau, April Alchimo, Philip Massella, Andrea Massella, and two great grandchildren Matthew and Tayah; two brothers, Emile Drolet of RI and Roger Drolet of FL; five sisters, Beatrice Perigard, Helene Bouffard and Henriette Evangelista all of Waterbury, Jeannette Desjardins of CA , Blanche Lipps of FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Lionel, she was predeceased by a son Philip; a brother Rene Drolet and three sisters, Yvonne LaMadeline, Ester Synkowicz and Lorraine Beland.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, 10 AM at the Shrine of St. Anne for Mothers, 515 S. Main St. in Waterbury. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott.
