Clarence Eaton

Born on February 19, 1936 in Deer Isle, ME he was the son of the late William and Carrie (Richards) Eaton. He was a retired employee of Superior Steel in Cheshire and had worked as a flag car driver of oversized loads for over 12 years. He attended the New Life Christian Church in Waterbury for several years and also volunteered at the Christian Fellowship Center in Bristol.

Besides his wife of 35 years he is survived by a son David and his wife Julia Eaton of Concord, CA, a brother Thomas W. and his wife Kristi Eaton of Martinsburg, WV, a sister Harriet Leighton of Deer Isle, ME, three grandsons Christopher, Michael and his wife Christie and Matthew and his wife Krista Eaton and seven great-grandchildren, Crystal, Kimberly, Jessica, Michael Jr., James, Deanna and Jeannette Eaton.

Funeral Services will be Thursday 11 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Stonington, ME at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Rock of Waterbury 513 Meriden Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705.
