

Claudette Mary (Violette) St. Pierre, 92, of Meriden, and formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger St. Pierre.
Born on November 17, 1932, in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Isabelle (Ouelette) Violette. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Claudette’s legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Claudette is survived by her four children: Valerie Damia and her husband Bob of Huntington Beach, CA, Kevin Armstrong and his wife Janette of Bolton, Brian Armstrong and his wife Joyce of Wolcott, and Derek St. Pierre and his partner Vicki of Waterbury. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Eric Armstrong and his wife Jaci, Jordan Armstrong, and Kelsey Armstrong, as well as two great-grandchildren: Morgan and Avery Armstrong. She was predeceased by her oldest son Kenny Armstrong. In addition, Claudette is survived by many nieces and nephews, who will cherish the memories of her warmth, love, and generosity.
She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.
Claudette’s quiet strength, gentle nature, and love for her family and friends were felt deeply by all. She loved the smaller things in life. Butterflies, birds, lilacs and spending time with her family in Misquamicut brought her true joy. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the way she made everyone feel special. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched, and her spirit will continue to guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Complete Care in Meriden for the dedication and love that Claudette experienced during the time that she was there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on October 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Church,120 Church Ave, Bristol. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
