

He was born April 16, 1954 in Southington son of the late Arthur and Elna (Jabs) Yanke and grew up in Bristol. He was self employed as an accountant, and also working for other companies through the years.
He loved camping, fishing, boating and kayaking. He was a member of Family Campers and RV?ers, Happy Wanderers, and was the treasurer of the CT FCRV. He belonged to the N.E. Western Dance Assoc. and was a former dance instructor. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bristol.
Besides his wife he is survived by his brothers, Arthur Yanke and his wife Sharon of Bristol and Gordon Yanke and his wife Pamela of OH, mother-in-law Elizabeth Werkheiser, brother-in-law Donald Werkheiser and wife Jeanie of PA and several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his beloved cats Buddy and Jasper.
The Funeral will be Thursday 7:15 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that you make an act of kindness in Cliff?s honor or a donation may be made in his memory to the charity of one?s choice.
