David Karl Miller

David was born in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Rudolf and Hilde (Muller) Miller. He received a BA from the University of Buffalo and his Masters in Public Administration from the University of CT. He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War era, serving in Germany. He was employed by Perfect Fit Placement as a recruiter. He was associated with the South Congregational Church in Middletown. He was raised in the Daniel Carpenter Masonic Lodge in NYC and was a member of the Order of the Easter Star Lorelei Chapter #581 and the Center Lodge #97 in Meriden. David enjoyed golfing, camping and hiking. His love for trivia and making people laugh will be remembered.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister Evelyn Weinstein of Amherst, NY

A Graveside Masonic Service, followed by a Committal Service by Reverend Suzanne Personette of South Congregational Church, along with Military honors will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
