Deborah A. Franco, 57, of Farmington, loving daughter of Matthew Franco of West Hartford and Mary Ann Franco of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Amberwoods of Farmington surrounded by her family. Deborah was born in Waterbury on November 24, 1965. She was one of 8 daughters. From a very young age, Deborah was very special. She had quite a personality and was a very caring and loving individual. She was known as “The Keeper of Time” due to her ever growing collection of watches. As a huge fan of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music, she sang and danced into everyone’s hearts. A fierce competitor, especially in swimming, she won many medals in her competitions with The Special Olympics. She was also a former member of Faith Baptist Church of Wolcott, The Church of Hope in Waterbury and the ARC of Waterbury. Besides her parents, Deborah is survived her 7 seven sisters, Denise Franco of Bristol, her twin Dawn Franco also of Bristol, Diane Scalf of Illinois, Darlene Franco of Texas, Donna Franco of CT, Lisa Franco of Florida and Tracy Franco of Bristol and also Robert Michelinas who was really the love of her life and her very best friend. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Deborah was predeceased by her favorite feline companion, Pumpkin. All services and burial will be private.
