SPC. Deven A. Stohmal US Army, 25, of Southington passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident on April 5, 2021 in Manchester, TN. He was the loving Husband of Jaimie (Peck) Stohmal.

He was born on February 13, 1996 in Bristol to Glen and Patsy (Drouin) Stohmal of Southington. Deven was employed by the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country for 6 years as a Stryker Systems Mechanic and would have been honorably discharged on May 29th. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved spending time with his daughter and family.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by his daughter Avery Rae and was awaiting the birth of his son Colson James in May. He also leaves his sister Alexis Stohmal, sister-in-law Christina, and his nephew Bodin Stohmal all of Southington.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 1 pm at the State Veteran’s Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln, Middletown. Calling hours will be prior to from 9-12 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Masks and social distancing precautions are required at all times. First I want to say sorry for your loss. Stohmal will be missed immensely. I worked directly with him and he helped me so much learn my job. He was a great person with a great personality, I rarely seen him without a smile. I will keep the family in my prayers.
