Dolores “Dolly” (Casale) Hall, 88, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. She was the loving wife of the late Leroy Hall.
Dolly was born on July 19, 1938, in New York, New York, and was the daughter of the late Attilio and Carmella (Bellissimo) Casale.
Dolly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always ready for a good game of bingo at the Southington Calendar House. She loved bowling, playing cards, and cheering on the UConn women’s basketball team. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Camp, Silver Sneakers, and the Merry Widows Club.
She is survived by her three children, Joy Hall of Bristol, Jay Hall and his wife, Shawn, of Plantsville, and Jody Hall and his wife, Lourdes, of Southington; six grandchildren, Brianna, James, Andrew, Trevor, Brett, and Kaylee; a great-grandson, Tyler; and her sister, Rose Burgess of Southington. She also leaves her stepson, Michael Hall and his wife, Paula, of Southington, and ten step-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Leroy, she was predeceased by her sister, Anna Ceruti; two brothers, Carmen Casale and Raymond Casale; her stepdaughter, Bonnie Landeen; and her stepson, Russell Hall.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 8th at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Road, Southington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Leroy. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
