He was born Dec. 20, 1976 in Yokota, Japan the son of Frederick Fries of Trumbull and Chalard (Pungtongkea) Eagerton of Panama City, FL. Donald graduated from The Lincolin Culinary Institute, Hartford, CT. He was a carpenter. He loved to cook and work with computers. He played baseball, football and soccer and loved to ski and golf.
Besides his parents he is survived by 2 brothers, Blain Fries of Berlin, Germany and Kyle Fries of Meriden, 3 sisters, Heather Fries of Meriden, Henni Dubois of Manhattan, NY and Lisa Cottle of Boston, MA. He also leaves his grandfather Donald Fries and his nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington at 2 p.m. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1 pm to the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
