Doris C. Kane

WOLCOTT- Mrs. Doris C. (Hill) Kane, 84, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Wolcott View Manor. She was the widow of the late George V. Kane Jr. Born in Arkville, NY on September 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Mortemer G. and Cecilia (Dietch) Hill. A Wolcott resident since 1949, she was an original parishioner of both St. Pius X and St. Maria Gorretti Churches. She loved being a homemaker and enjoyed needlepoint and embroidering. Mrs. Kane is survived by her two daughters Kaaren and her husband Robert Page of Orlando, FL, Kathleen and her husband Robert Flanagan of Terryville. She also leaves two sisters Dorothy Bielick of Wolcott, and Clara Mulvehill of Watertown. She was a wonderful grandmother to Donna Michele Dorato of TX, Robert Allen Page of FL, James Flanagan of Middletown and Robert Flanagan Jr. of NC, and great grandmother to Alex Dorato, Jessica and Samantha Page, Melanie and Briana Flanagan. Funeral will be Wednesday 9 AM from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Wooodtick Rd to St. Pius X Church for a Mass at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
