Born April 4, 1925 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late
Mae B. Cooper.
Dorothy and James lived in Southington for past twenty years. Prior to that, they resided in Tennessee and South Carolina which they enjoyed greatly. Dorothy had a special talent for interior design.
In addition to her husband James she is survived by her two sons, Douglas J. Gregory and wife Elizabeth of Southington and Brian H. Gregory and wife Donna of Millbury, MA; four grandchildren, Rachel Mendoza and husband Julio, Jason, Ryan and Kevin Gregory and a great-grandson Jaiden Mendoza. She was predeceased by two sisters.
Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 209 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06032. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with the arrangements.
