Dorothy Posa

WOLCOTT- Dorothy Grace Posa, 77, formerly of Waterbury died Sunday July 6, 2008 at Wolcott View Manor.Born in Waterbury on February 9, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Masi) Posa. For over thirty years she was Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital and was also employed at Southbury Training School. She enjoyed reading and word puzzles and was very devoted to her family.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter Debra and her husband Ray Langdeau of Wolcott, a son Stephen and his wife Paige Tozzi of Spofford, NH, a brother Michael and his wife Linda Posa of Watertown, a sister “Ann” Antoinette and her husband Robert Walsh of Wolcott, seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bryan, Jason, Michael, David, Brett and Ryan, one great granddaughter Emma. Dorothy is also survived by cousins Marie Santoro of Waterbury, Anna May Mazzona of Morris, Leonard Posa of Bowie, MD and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Wednesday 8:30 AM from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott to St. Maria Goretti Church for a Mass at 9 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
