Elizabeth "Betty" Mary Lagana was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on June 24, 2021 at age 91.
She was born on February 2, 1930, in Waterbury to Anthony and Sophie (Gladke) Hubeny. Together they had 6 children, Salvatore Lagana Jr, Barbara Middleton, Mark Lagana, David Lagana, Paul Lagana and Doreen Lagana, now deceased.
Elizabeth loved her family and loved creating delicious meals for everyone to enjoy. She was tough, but caring and was never afraid to speak her mind. She ran a successful daycare out of her home with her daughter Doreen and they treated the children as if they were their own, and enjoyed talking for hours to her friends and family. She loved watching her shows, to read and kept a spotless home. She was the most honest, sincere and loving person and loved by everyone. Elizabeth was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church
