Ernst William Freeman, 88, of Wallingford and formerly of Southington passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. He was the beloved husband of Virginia (McBride) Freeman.
He was born July 11, 1937, and was the son of the late Elmer Wallace and Lillian Caroline (Breitzke) Freeman.

A funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 531 Woodruff St., Southington at a date and time to be announced.
