She was born July 26, 1916 in Bennington, VT daughter of the late Joseph O. and Mary Sophia (Bowen) King. She had retired from the Milldale Post Office. Mrs. Grillo was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church and was a Redsox, UCONN Husky and Nascar fan.
She is survived by her sons, John Grillo and his friend Margaret ?Peggy? Dudley of Southington and David Grillo along with several grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Fred E. Grillo, and 2 brothers, Ernest and Clarence King.
A Funeral service will be held Friday 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Calling hours will be Friday (TODAY) from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Graveside burial will be Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery Meriden Ave. in Southington.
