Ettore "Eddie" Premus

Eddie was born on August 6, 1928 in New York, and he was the son of the late Ettore and Romana (Knezich) Premus. He attended St. Mary’s Church in Unionville and St. Dominic Church in Southington, and was an accountant for Continental Can Co.

Eddie was a member of the Knights of Columbus, enjoyed coaching baseball along with being a Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Mets fan. He loved to dance especially the waltz and the polka.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons Vincent Premus and his wife Denene of Pepperell, MA and Joseph Premus and his wife Diane of Southington, 5 grandchildren McKenna, Duncan, Julia, Olivia and Andrew and a niece Margaret Johnson. He was predeceased by two sisters.

The funeral will be held on Thursday March 19 at 10:15 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. for an 11:00 am Mass at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington . Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
