Evelyn Lewis

Evelyn M. (Jacobson) Lewis, 89, passed away on Friday October 25, 2013 at Mulberry Gardens in Plantsville. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Lewis, Sr. Evelyn was born on November 1, 1923 in Northford, CT and was the daughter of the late Hilmer Joseph and Alice Ella (Pierpont) Jacobson.

She is survived by her children Ellamay Dion of TN, Shirley Gralnick of Southington, Richard Lewis, Jr. and wife Joan of Wallingford and Albert Lewis and wife Sandra of Southington, 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by three brothers Clifford, Harold, and Irving Jacobson, a sister Ella Fanning, and a grandson Eric Mansfield Lewis.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 9 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, CT 06489. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday from 5-8 pm.
