
Born in Waterbury on April 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Steinmetz. She was formerly employed as a quality control foreman by Scovill Manufacturing Co. and was a past president of the Scovill Employee Recreation Association. She also enjoyed duckpin bowling and was in bowling leagues for many years.
Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by a son Kenneth Smoil II of Cheshire, and one grandson Jonathan Smoil of Waterbury . She was predeceased by a sister Marion Montrose, and a brother Carl Steinmetz.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 11 AM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private. Following the service the public is invite to the funeral luncheon at The Mad River Pub in Wolcott.
