Fernand Cyr

Born on March 6, 1938 son of the late Paul and Claudia (St. Jarre) Cyr. Prior to his retirement he was a carpenter. Fernand was a member of St. Dominic Church.

He is survived by his children, Shirley Cyr and partner Jim, Gail Cyr all of Bristol, and Robert Cyr of Vernon, a brother Luke Cyr and wife Rita of Bristol, sisters Giselle Plourde of Canton, Yvette Soucy of W. Hartford, Renette Bosse of Berlin, Weeda Herbert of Canada, Claire Coughlin of VT, and Odette Sirois of Watertown, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers Conrad, Guy, and Yvonne Cyr.

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211N. Main St., Southington to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington for a 10 am Mass. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-6 pm.
