

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Bedard of Southington and her son William Dickman and his wife Patricia; six grandchildren, Paul Bedard (Sylvia), William Bedard, Catherine Tainter (Zebadiah), William Dickman (Louise), Pamela Dickman and Emma Gould; six great grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, Samuel, Lilly, Isla and Elsa; son-in-law, Phil Gould and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Gould and grandson Christian Bedard, two brothers, Joseph and Theodore Kowar and six sisters, Rosemary Sabatella, Anna Kowar, Pauline Mindek, Carol Petruska, Virginia Bonola and Frances Wisk.
Florence lead an exceptionally long, eventful life. Loved by family, friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Jerome Home North Wing for their excellent and compassionate care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Luke Parish - The Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Osgood Ave, New Britain. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bread for Life, 31 Vermont Ave., Southington, CT 06489. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
