Francis Thomas Ingriselli

Francis "Fran" Ingriselli, 90, of the Milldale section of Southington passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Monica (Cupina) Ingriselli for 58 years.

He was born June 26, 1933 in Southington and was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (LaPorta) Ingriselli.

Fran retired in 1996 after 45 years of employment from Ideal Forging, Inc. and continued working part-time for his brother-in-law at Blastech Inc. His greatest joys were watching his grandsons play sports, his family and watching the New York Yankees. Fran was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church which was an important part of his life.

In addition to his wife, his greatest joys were his daughters, Lisa Manousos and Michele Quadrato both of Wethersfield; four treasured grandsons, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael and Mitchell; his grand dog Striker; his brother Alfred Ingriselli (Rita) of Plantsville; sister-in-law Mary Ingriselli of Southington along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his sisters Concetta (Minnie) Carlone, Florence (Flo) DeFeo and Marie Ingriselli; his brothers Marco and Ralph Ingriselli.

The family would like to thank the HHC Home Hospice caregivers for their comfort and support given to Fran and his family during this difficult time.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, February, 10, 2024 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
