

He was born on September 7, 1981the son of Gary and Mary (Calvanese) Celella. He was a 1999 graduate of SHS and went on to school and became a licensed electrical contractor and owned and operated his company "Dr. Kilowatts". Gary was always inventing and creating new ideas and unique products. His latest venture was a plow-proof mailbox; this was the first item he patented. Mailbox Kings was featured on the Discovery Channel this past winter. Gary loved life and especially his family to the fullest. He was an avid skier and enjoyed fishing, playing pool and showing off his Michael Jackson moves. He especially loved playing and spending time with his nephews.
In addition to his parents Gary and Mary, he leaves his sister Katie and husband Vinny Cirillo, his brother Patrick and his girlfriend Ashley and two much loved nephews Vinny and Domenic Cirillo as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Phil and Rose Celella and his maternal grandparents Joe and Kay Calvanese.
A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 13th at 11:30 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Southington. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 3-7 pm. at the Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St. Plantsville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calvanese Foundation, PO Box 23, Plantsville, CT 06479 to establish an electrical Scholarship in Gary's memory.
