

She was a hairdresser graduating from CT Institute of Hairdressing in 1952. She was an active member of the Plainville Senior Center. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy in Plainville and St. Dominic in Southington.
She is survived by her children, Fred Murtha of Harwich, MA, Karen Pardal of Plainville, Cindy Bowler of Feeding Hills, MA and Anna Goulet of Glastonbury, 6 grandchildren, Nicholas and Neil Graham , Kathleen Murtha, Chelsea Pardal, Tyler and Michelle Goulet , 2 great grandchildren Ava Gayle Pardal and Violet Paquette. She was predeceased by a son Raymond P. Murtha Jr.
She was very greatful for the family of friends who supported her and loved her through the years including all the wonderful people at the Plainville Senior Center and all her neighbors at the Plainville Senior Housing and "Saints"
The Funeral Service will be held Friday 6 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 p.m. -6 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her memory to the Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. Plainville, CT 06063 or the Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave. Southington, CT 06489.
