Genevieve Pasqual

Genevieve “Jean” Pasqual, 100, beloved wife of the late Alphonse Pasqual, passed away peacefully at Southington Care Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Jean was born to the late John and Agatha (Izdebska) Tomczewski on June 22, 1921 in Newington. She retired from Fafnir Bearing Co. in 1983. Jean enjoyed traveling, playing cards with friends, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Above all else, she enjoyed having her family around her, especially watching the children grow. Jean is survived by her daughter: Linda Dudac and her husband John of Southington; grandchildren: Robert Michalak and his wife Martha, Marc Michalak and his wife Meghann, Michael Michalak and his wife Crystal, John Dudac and his wife Cindy, and Krystine LaBrie and her husband Michael; great grandchildren: Kayla Watson, Melisa, Sydney, Aiden and Logan Michalak, Carley and Gavin Dudac, and Sam and Madison LaBrie; a sister: Frances Mazza; and 9 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Jean was predeceased by her daughter: Loreen Markie; sisters: Nellie Hnatt, Florence haze, Anne Chorzempa and Vicky DeJohn; and brothers: John and Andrew Tomczewski; and sisters-in-law Susan Vaccarillo and Mary Ripa.
