George Carlson

He was the husband of the late Arline (Lord) Carlson.

Born on Dec. 1, 1920 in New Britain, he was the son of the late Philip and Anna Carlson.

George was employed by Wasley Products of Plainville. He had also been a part time grounds keeper in Plainville. George was a parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church.

He is survived by a longtime friend Mary of Plainville, cousins Otley Kania of Southington, Bart Anderson of AL, Evelyn Wright of GA, Mildred Roscoe of CA, Robert Carlson of Bristol and Doris Swanson of Cromwell a stepsister Thelma Bloom of CA along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Clifford Carlson.

 Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30AM until 11AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington, followed by services at Zion Lutheran Church 531 Woodruff St at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. Donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
