Dear Georgia,
My heart goes out to you and your family. My fond memories include you and “Mr. Geyer” stopping by my home at the Cape. I hope we can get together there. He was my first Chairman and taught me not to be afraid of the computer. Wonderful wonderful man. I’ll miss him so very much. Fondly, Sandra

Dear Georgia and Family:
With heavy heart and sadness we lost dear colleague and friend George. He has contributed to CCSU and community at large
a lot over his academic life time. His students all over the country attest to this. May he rest in peace and have a place in Paradise.
We will miss him.

I was a classmate of George; we used to double-date. George was a physics major, me a biological sciences major. Then we became colleagues at CCSU. George was always quick-witted, not just about local things, but world-wide. I can remember when he introduced a course in the Physics of Sailing; nice summer work I advised George. His teaching was always first. His presence will be missed.

Dear Georgia

I am deeply saddened at George's passing. All of us in the Physics Department at CCSU who knew him over the decades had nothing but the fondest memories of him as a teacher and colleague.

He was an exceptional teacher and students found him inspiring and kind beyond expectation. And we, his colleagues, knew that he was always available for counsel with thoughtful and wise advice.

In sadness
