

Georgianne (Fournier) Krajewski, age 77, of Southington, passed away into heaven, with family by her side on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Born in Wallagrass, ME, she was the second of four children born to Claude and Edwina (Theriault) Fournier.
As a young girl, her family relocated to Southington where she attended local schools and graduated from Southington High School. She also attended Central Connecticut State College.
Georgianne, known as Georgie, entered the workforce with most of her working career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Overhaul & Repair Operations in Southington and Cheshire, CT, where she met Ted, her future husband. Starting as a basic bench mechanic, she expanded her knowledge and expertise to become a respected department lead-person in the PW4000 jet engine program, inspection department for 34 years, until her retirement. She continued working at Walmart for several years to keep her hands busy.
A loving mother, Georgie adored caring for her husband and raising her three children. She followed her children in many of their high school activities, and was a participant with Blue Knights Band Backers. She was exceptionally proud to earn the title “Memere” as she welcomed her grandchildren. She always kept up with her strong northern Maine roots and visited the lakeside family cottage every summer, where she would visit her extended family. Georgianne was a faithful parishioner of former St. Thomas Church and St. Dominic Church.
Georgianne is survived by her husband of 46 yrs, Thaddeus “Ted” Krajewski; twin sons, Patrick and his wife Kayla of Southington, and Eric and his companion Randie of Maine; her daughter, Kelly of upstate New York; three grandchildren, Madison, Carter, and Tyler; her three siblings, George Fournier and his wife Maria of Cheshire, Betty Wnuk of New Britain and Dianne Pelletier and her husband Michael of Southington; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Georgianne was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Greg Wnuk, nephew, Aaron Pelletier, and great niece, Morgan Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will be in St. Thomas cemetery, Southington.
