He was born June 30, 1938 in Clair, New Brunswick, Canada a son of the late Emile and Alphena (Pelletier) Michaud.
Gerald was a carpenter with Beaudoin Construction, retiring in 1995.
In addition to his wife he leaves two daughters, Suzanne Raymond and her fiancé Glenn of Wolcott and Sandy Wyman and her husband Ken of S. Meriden; two granddaughters, Jessica Wilcox and Alissa Wyman; a great grandson Johnathin, a brother, Renald Michaud and several nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by a brother Normand Michaud and a sister Germaine Levesque.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Calling hours will be prior to from 2pm until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
