Geraldine A. Martin

She was born on July 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Zephirin and Ida (Lavasseur) Thibodeau.

Geraldine moved to New Britain in 1962 where she worked for the North & Judd Mfg. Co. for several years.

She is survived by a daughter Joann Coppola and son-in-law Albert of Southington, two sons, Romeo Martin and daughter-in-law Donna of Plainville, Glenn Martin and daughter-in-law Nancy of FL and daughter-in-law Rachel Martin of Eagle Lake, ME. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jason Martin and wife Denise, Tina Davis and husband Jon, Nicki Ritchie and husband Rob, Kelly Laferriere and husband Mark, Eric Martin, Scott Martin, Peter Coppola and wife Heidi, Michael Coppola and wife Eden. She was predeceased by a son Norman Martin, a sister Marie Langlais and a brother Clarence Thibodeau.

The family would like to send a thank-you to Hartford Hospital Cardiac ICU and step-down units, as well as a special thanks to Ericka Buatti and Pat Frasier.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. for a Mass. Burial. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
