He was born May 29, 1961 in Calais, ME and was the son of the late Harold B. and Rose M. (McElroy) Cochran.
Harold was employed by Cidra Process Optimization from where he retired as an aircraft machinist.
He is survived by his four brothers and two sisters; Randy Cochran of Watertown, Sherry Barnes of Meriden, Norman Cochran of Terryville, Karen Valentine of Bristol, Stephen Cochran of Plantsville and David Cochran of Southington. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews; Daniel, Randy, Ryan, Sean, James Cochran, Tommy Barnes, Crystal Stratton, Nicole Gorneault, Patrick Cochran, Crystal Cochran, Tracy Valentine, Jamie Rosatti, Jessica Mahayosnand, Adam Cochran, Megan Cochran and Caitlin Cochran along with numerous great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, January, 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington followed by burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 9 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
