
He was born on August 11, 1930 in Codyville, ME., and was the son of the late Blake Hamilton and Elizabeth Cochran.
Harold had served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a true sports fan but also loved to fish and go hunting. Harold had been employed by Hamilton Standard and had retired from there.
Harold is survived by his loving wife Rose (Sprage) Cochan, of Bristol,
five sons; Randy Cochran and his wife Noreen of Prospect, Norman Cochran of Terryville, Stephen Cochran of Meriden, Harold Cochran and David Cochran both of Plantsville, two daughters Sherry Barnes and her husband Daniel of Meriden and Karin Valentine of Bristol, 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Lyman Cochran and his wife Kay of ME. along with several nieces and nephews .
He was predeceased by a brother Clyde Cochran.
The funeral will be held on Thursday May 17 at 1 PM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. The hour of visitation will be from noon (12PM) until the time of the service.
