Harriet Dominello

Harriet was born on November 20, 1932 in Southington, the daughter of the late Paul & Bronislawa (Swistak) Kordys. Harriet was the bookkeeper for Sal’s Market working alongside her husband Sal helping to run the business. She was also a member of Mary Our Queen Church.

Harriet is survived by her daughters Kathleen Michalak and Diane Martin and her son-in-law David Martin, and a brother Edward Kordys all of Southington. She is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses Ryan and Nicole Michalak, David and Kristen Martin, Christy and Nicholas Buden, Elizabeth and Jared Montano, Lauren and Sean Hyjek, Todd and Susan Michalak, and great grandchildren Tyler Hyjek, Lucy and Katelyn Montano, Samuel and Caroline Michalak, and soon to be “Baby” Buden, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law George Michalak and several brothers and sisters.

We would like to especially thank our three “Angels” Diane, Cindy, and Gerri for taking special care of our beloved mom. A special thanks to Dr. Bogdanski and staff for their compassion and care.

The funeral will be held Saturday May 24, 2014 at 11:30 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9:30-11 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
