

Born Nov. 25, 1951 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late John and Barbara (Johnston) Callahan.
Jack was a Dept. Manager at Home Depot in Southington joining their team before the store opened. He served in the U.S. Army as an Air Traffic Controller serving in the DMZ in Korea. Jack was a Patriots Fan, football was his passion.
Besides his wife he is survived by 4 children; Heather Antoinetti and husband Mark of Bristol, Amanda Callahan and Jim Perry of Southington, John P. Callahan Jr. and Conor Callahan both of Southington. He also leaves 2 brothers; Kevin Callahan and Karen, Tim Callahan and Lisa all of Olean, NY, and a sister, Kathy Weatherley and Ray of Minnesota, a special Aunt "Trish" Johnston of Olean, NY, and 4 grandchildren;
Alexis & Olivia Bourgoin, Andrew & Jack Perry. Jack also leaves his Ulissi family Sisters and Brother and their spouses along with several nieces and nephews. Jack also shared the last 20 years of his life with his Home Depot Family. He'll be especially missed by Rich, Phil, Flip, Hank, Jim and Ray.
A Memorial Mass with military honors will be held Thursday, Dec.1, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Jack's family asks that no flowers be sent to the services.
