James L. Garland

James L. Garland, 73, of Southington passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the HOCC at New Britain General. He was born November 11, 1949 in Hartford and was the son of the late Ervin and Gloria (Trautner) Garland. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam War proudly serving at the rank of Sargent with the US Air Force. Upon leaving the service he worked at Gra-Rock Soda Company in Wethersfield with his father then moving on to Weiner Auto Parts in Southington to begin his long career in auto parts sales. He was employed for over thirty years with Bristol Auto Parts. He is survived by his three sisters, Carol Partelow and husband Glenn of Palm Coast, FL, Sharon Nadeau and husband Larry of Southington and Jody Finland and husband Edward of Bristol. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Michelle and Laura Nadeau and Jennifer and Michael Finland Services have been postponed with a date to be determined.
