Southington- Janet Yorski, 56, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at home with her family at her side. She was born on Sep. 2, 1958, in Southington, daughter of the late Edward P. and Helen (Smiddy) Yorski.
Prior to her illness Janet was a Phlebotomist. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was an avid NASCAR fan just like her mom.
She is survived by her brother James and wife Susan Yorski, and sister Joan Yorski Bradley and husband Raymond all of Southington, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friend Shirley “Shoelace” O’Sullivan and a special cousin Jacki Finland both of Southington.
She was predeceased by a nephew James Yorski Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. at 7 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 pm until the time of the service.
