Jean P. Berardi

WOLCOTT-Jean P. (Petrokaitis) Berardi, 80, of Wolcott passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Abbott Terrace. She was the beloved wife of John Berardi for 61 years.

Born March 20, 1936 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Rimkie) Petrokaitis. She retired from Wolcott School System.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her two sons, Robert Berardi of Wolcott and Jim Berardi and wife Deb of Bristol; a sister Joan Bobko and husband Steve of Waterbury; three grandchildren, Brett and Alyssa Berardi and Morgan Tyler. She was predeceased by a sister Alice Bates.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon AT the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4-6 p.m. Because Jean was a very generous person donating to numerous charities memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
