Jeffrey John Riera

Mr. Jeffrey J. Riera, 49, died on Thursday, August 10th at Hartford Hospital. Born in Massachusetts on December 8, 1967, he was the son of John and his wife Linda Riera of Southington and the late Elaine (Wilcox) Riera. Jeff is also survived by a son Kyle Riera and his longtime girlfriend Jessica Carroll , a granddaughter Grace Riera all of Southington, his three sisters Robin and her husband William Lesinski, Brendy and her husband Josh Traber, Carrie Riera, and a brother John and his wife Heather Riera, as well as several nieces , nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jeff was raised in Southington and attended Southington Schools. He was mechanically inclined and worked as a mechanic for many companies primarily on commercial trucks. He enjoyed motorcycles, heavy metal music and liked to eat peanut butter and pasta. He loved his dog Zeke.
