

Born on June 9, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Nancy (Tommaro) Forgione. Prior to her retirement, many years ago, she was employed by Sherwood Medical Products. Jennie was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church; she was a member of their Ladies Guild and had taught CCD for several years. She was an Associate of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with family and friends. Jennie volunteered many hours at St. Leo the Great Parish, she especially loved trips to Ocean City, NJ with her family. Jennie had many friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand. In recent years she took great pleasure in spending time with her two great-granddaughters. Jennie was loved dearly by all who met her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son Joseph C. Frascatore and his wife Barbara of Waterbury, a granddaughter Michele Colwell and husband Alan, two great-granddaughters, Michaela and Adrianna all of Southington, a brother Nicholas and wife Nora Forigone of PA, two sisters, Teresa Bria of PA and Rose and husband Matt Schambers of NJ, she also leaves a special friend Marion Colella and husband Chuck and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m.from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Rd, Waterbury at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
