Joan Leslie Bouchard

Joan Leslie Bouchard, 63, a resident of Litchfield for the past 15 years, passed away peacefully at Sharon Healthcare Center on May 13, 2021, surrounded by her caring community of nurses and caregivers. Joan was born on Sept. 17, 1957 in Middletown, CT. a daughter of the late Roger and Doris Desroches Bouchard.

Joan is survived by her sisters, Julie McPhee and her husband Larry of Tallahassee, FL, Janet Lucas and her husband Thomas of Pleasant Valley, CT., nieces Danielle Michaud, Sarah Lucas, and nephew Justin Lucas.

Joan always had such a positive attitude despite chronic illnesses. She genuinely cared about people, sending her love often by writing pretty cursive notes & sending thoughtful gifts. She loved her cat, classic rock music & pizza. She was a supportive caregiver of her grandfather and her parents.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of her wonderful caregivers, the hospice team and her doctors.
