Joan Audrey (Hulse) Marks, 92, of Naugatuck, beloved widow of the late Alfred T. Marks, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital after a short illness. Joan was born in Bridgeport on November 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sr. and Josephine (Bischoff) Hulse.
Joan and Alfred were married on February 3, 1951, they raised two children who Joan is survived by; her daughter, Patricia Angersola (James) of Naugatuck and also by her son, Peter Marks (Ellen) of Plainville. She was affectionately known as grandma to Nicole Jordan (George), Christopher Scranton (Nicole), Ryan Marks (Amanda) and Stephanie Leavitt (James), and also by 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM in St. Thomas Cemetery, Meriden Ave. Southington, CT 06489. Calling hours will be on Tuesday prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, CT 06489.
