He was the loving husband of the late Mary (Quinn) Ciak. Born on January 16, 1936, in Hartford, he was the son of the late Frank and Madeline (Caden) Ciak.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long career with the Internal Revenue Service, working as an investigator until his retirement.
He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Ciak and his wife Ellen of Southington, and Richard Ciak and his wife Jenell of Springfield, Louisiana, along with several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and Robert Ciak.
