John A. Gardner

Born August 17, 1962 in Bridgeport, the son of Raymond Gardner of Bristol and the late Lois E. (Wildman) Gardner. John was employed by Haynes Construction Material in Seymour. He was a member of the New Life Christian Church in Waterbury.

Besides his father he is survived by a son, Raymond Gardner of Southington, four sisters, Jo-Ann Smith of Southington, Susan Kitchen of Germany, Sandra Lewis of New Milford and Tammy-Jo Benning of New Milford, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury, CT. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Raymond Gardner Education Fund, c/o TD Bank North, PO Box 174, New Britain, CT 06050-0174.
