John Leach

John was born on December 10, 1961 in Lindenhurst, Long Island, NY, son of the late Richard and Ann Theresa (Coyle) Leach. He worked in the residential flooring industry for over 35 years at several area companies and had been a member of several professional organizations. He was also a member of Prof Net group in Prospect, the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club.

          John was a friendly and fun loving man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed going out to dinner, traveling and taking trips to the casinos. He was a big sports fan, and especially loved the UCONN Women’s basketball team.

          Besides his beloved wife Michele of the last twelve years, he leaves his three daughters Jaci Leach, Stephanie Leach both of Idaho, Becky and her husband Phillip Bratt of California, his step children Jennifer Pelletier and her husband Mark Fuller of Cheshire, Jeffrey Pelletier of Hartford, four grandchildren Braelyn, Emma, Kaycee and Brooklyn, brothers Joseph, Nicholas and Christopher, sisters Patricia and her husband Jose Salmeron, and Judith Leach all of Long Island, and several nieces and nephews. In addition, John will be missed by his mother and father-in-law Doris and Robert Jegela of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, brother-in-law JR and his wife Luciene Laliberte of Middlebury, Lisa and her husband Robert Fekete of Watertown. John had many close longtime friends including Marie Toscanini Laliberte, Richard and Anna Teardo and Carolyn Capoziello.

Funeral will be Monday 11 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a Mass at 12 noon. Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
