
Southington- John O. "Orbie" Robison, 70, of 105 Blatchley Ave. died after a courageous battle with brain cancer, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marie (Lange) Robison.
He was born April 30, 1936 son of the late Howard and Alice (Cooper) Robison. He had been employed at A.G. C. Inc. in So. Meriden where he had worked for over 40 years. Mr. Robison had served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Red Sox Fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children Steven Robison and his wife Valerie of MI, Jeffrey Robison and his wife Lori of Middlefield, Jennifer Jalbert and her husband Peter of Granby, 3 brothers, Richard Robison and his wife Bev, and Paul Robison all of FL and Tolbert Robison and his wife Maureen of AZ, a sister Dianne Beha and her husband George of TN, 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, Joseph and Jessica Robison, John and Brian Jalbert and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Edithann Saternis and a grandson Nicholas Jalbert. The family would like to express thanks to the Hospice VNA and the dear friends who stood by his side.
The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church. Burial will be with Military Honors at South End Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Donations may be made in his memory to the Hospice Visiting Nurses of Central CT, 205 W. Main St. New Britain, CT 06052.
