Born February 22, 1961 in Norwalk he was the son of the late Vincent and Agnes (Kovacs) Romanowski.
John was a long time baker and pastry chef and was employed by A & P Supermarket in W. Hartford. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan.
He is survived by a brother, Peter Romanowski of Southington, a step-brother, Frank Fiasconero of New Hampshire; three step-sisters, Carol Fiasconero and Linda Taft both of E. Haven and Marie Squelina of Branford.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7th at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
